Indian film Superstar Rajinikanth landed at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA ) today at 5.45pm, resulting in a buzz on Malaysian social media.
Pictures and videos circulated on WhatsApp and Facebook as the Kabali lead actor arrived to film in Malaysia, in a shoot that will be taking place in Malacca.
After arriving, he had a very short photo session with the press during which he said he would meet with them tomorrow for a media conference.
The actor, who has a cult-like following here in Malaysia and even in Japan, will then be going to Hong Kong and Thailand to film the rest of his movie.
Rajini was supposed to be in the country earlier but the movie faced some delays and changes.
Kabali, which is being directed by Pa Rajinth, is the Indian megastar’s 159th movie.
His co-stars in the movie are reported to be Radhika Apte, Kishore, Kalaiyarasan and Dhansika.
